Dr. Reed entrepreneurship accomplishments was in opening Mz. Jazzy’s beauty supply, one of the Lithonia's first black-owned beauty supply stores. Her dedication and commitment to the industry launched Jazzy’s essentials, an online beauty supply platform co-founded with her daughter. She leveraged her business acumen to provide self-sufficiency classes for single mothers living in low-income housing. The residents developed entrepreneurial skills, created business plans and gained job readiness training.
